I love my job!!
I’ve been having such a fantastic week!
Thank you …….
Firstly a big thank you to everyone who has liked and shared my facebook page, I can’t believe I have over 100 likes already! I will be launching a special competition to celebrate reaching this first milestone in due course so keep an eye on my news feed for more information.
Special packages ……
I will also be releasing details of my special photography package for shy/nervous and any other dog who needs distance and space from strangers (aka me!!) shortly along with additional information about my puppy packages. Anyone who is interested in these please do not hesitate to get in touch and please continue sharing my page for your friends and anyone you know who may be interested in my photography packages.
I will have a very limited number of these packages at a very special price, so contact me to register your interest if you would like to provisionally book one of these spaces, they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and I will also run a waiting list in case any one decides to let their space go.
This week ………
I’ve been having a great week and I feel so lucky to be doing this as my job! I had such a fantastic day with positive connections at the TOP GUN! scent search at Boscombe Down Aviation Collection. Jo’s tuition is fantastic and it was such a joy to watch the dogs working and having such a great time. I have really enjoyed hearing about everyone's dogs and although the conditions in the hanger were tricky at best I was pleased to catch some lovely moments and I hope everyone is pleased with the photo’s from this event.
I have had some lovely feedback from the event, I am so passionate about capturing that special connection between the dog/human partnership and to hear that people are pleased with their photo’s really makes my day. If you have a dog you really need to check out the training opportunities you can have with Positive Connections, how often do you get the chance to practice your scent work with real planes!! The dogs were not at all phased and all got to work eagerly, it was a true joy to experience.
Tile of the month …..
My tile of the month - Cuddles, is selling well. I am so happy to be able to raise some money for charities through my photography. I have also had a request for some additional Koala’s to make a collection of three so I am excited to have an excuse to visit the Koala’s of Longleat again, although this is a longwinded job because the Koala’s like to sleep…… a lot!
In other news …..
Between editing photo’s from Pip’s Pods and the TOP GUN! search I have also been to photograph the cutest litter of cocker spaniel puppies, which I was just over the moon about, who doesn’t love spending time with a bunch of baby spaniels!! Unfortunately we were hit by a typical British summer day (i.e rain!) so we had to hold the shoot indoors. In good news this means I am returning next week to get some outdoor shots, a great excuse to spend more time with the pup’s.
I am also looking forward to joining the wonderfully inclusive Pawfect Ability at the August Sam’s Show this weekend to capture some memories & special moments of dogs and handlers working together as a team. Pawfect Ability are dedicated to positive dog training and use games, hoopers and Animal Centered Education (ACE) to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Check out their website or facebook page for more information about the opportunities Pawfect Ability can offer.
